You are Ferroudja, a young girl who is going to begin her Pokémon journey. You are with your best friend, Hop, and you two head toward the professor's house to get your first Pokémon.

"Hey, I'm ready when you are," Hop says as he pulls out his own Pokédex. "I'll be right here."

> You enter the house and spot the professor waiting for you.
You walk into the house and see Professor Sycamore standing in front of his desk. He looks up at you from behind his glasses.

> You say : "Hi! I'm here to have my first Pokémon !"
"Ah, finally. Good, good. Please, take a seat."
You sit down in the leather chair across from him and place your bag at your feet.

> You wait for Hop to enter too.
Just as you put your bag at your feet, Hop comes running into the room.
"There you are!" he says, panting. "I was wondering where you went! I was getting worried!

> You say "I was with you a minute again, didn't you see me enter the house?"
"No, no. I came a few minutes after you did."
"You're impossible!" you complain, but you pick up your bag anyway and get up to follow the professor.

> You say "I wonder which Pokémon the professor will gave us!"
"Excuse me," a voice says behind you, "is it true what they say about you?"
You turn around to see a girl about your age.

> You say "Who say what about me?"
"That you're the best rat-catcher in the city."
"I'm not a rat-catcher."
"I don't care. I bet you can catch any rodent.

> You say "Do you already have a Pokémon ?"
"No. I just came here to meet the professor. I want to become a Pokémon psychologist."

> You say "Okay..."
"What do you think of me?"
"I don't know. Why don't you tell me?"
"Because I want you to make me beautiful."
"Beautiful?"

> You say "Who are you anyway?"
The girl tells you her name is Princess, and that she has been waiting for the professor to show her the Pokémon center for four hours.

> You say "I'm Ferroudja, and that's my friend Hop."
"You're the rat-catcher?"
"No. I just came with him to get our first Pokémon."
"What are you going to catch? Rattata?

> You say "I can't catch any Pokémon for now, I don't even have my starter yet."
"Look, I have to go. The professor is going to wonder where I am, and he'll be mad.
The professor calls you over to pick your first Pokémon.

You can choose from a large selection of Pokémon, or pick your favorite from previous games.

> You look at the available Pokémon.
You feel your heart start to beat faster as you look over the selection.
There's a row of popular and well-known Pokémon such as the general Pokémon or Charmander.

> You want to know what are all the choice.
Then there's the row of less popular choices, such as Scyther or Pinsir.
You remember that a friend of yours has one of these Pokémon.
What do you choose?

A. Zangoose
B. Rampardos
C. Rhydon
D. Seadra
E. Scyther
F. Swinub
G. Tauros
H. Pinsir
I. Seaking
J. Swablu
K. Venonat
L. Volbeat
M. Xatu
N. Zubat
O. Oddish
P. Omanyte
Q. Omanyte
R. Onix
S. Scyther
T. Tentacool
U. Venonat
V. Volbeat
W. Wobbuffet
X. Wingull
Y. Zapdos
Z. Zangoose

(The list above is the default list of choices that the professor gives you)
After thinking a bit, you decide to take a Zangoose.

> You look at Hop choosing his Pokémon.
You watch as Hop scratches his head in confusion.
"I don't know," he says. "I've never even had a Pokémon before."
He looks at the row of Pokémon, and spots something he likes.

> You point at a Teddiursa. "What about this one?" you ask.
"A Teddiursa?" he frowns. "It's a cute Pokémon, but it's also very fragile. It would probably die within days of being out of its Poké Ball."

> You say "What about a Panpour?"
He shrugs. "It's a Water-type, which are already plentiful. It doesn't seem very practical."
You see a row of Flying-type Pokémon.
"I don't know," he admits.

> You say "What type do you want?"
"A Psychic-type would be good for fighting Ghost and Dark Pokémon," he nods.

> You say "Wait... But the Psychic-type is weak against Ghost and Dark!"
"True," he nods. "But with a few training, it would be fine."
You see a row of Poison- and Steel-type Pokémon.
"I don't know," he admits.

> You say "If you really want a Psychic-type, there's Espurr!"
"What's that?"
"Ah, you've never heard of it?"
"Nope.

> You say "That's a cat-like Pokémon with Psychic powers!"
"A Pokémon that psychic?" he asks, seems surprised you didn't know about it.
"Yep! It's a Stage 1 Pokémon, and it's very friendly and playful.

> You say "So, which one do you choose?"
"I don't know," he says. "I'll have to think about it."

> You say "We can't spend the day here waiting for you to find your starter!"
"Yeah, you're right," he nods.
You sigh in exasperation, before snatching Hop's wrist and dragging him along to the next column.

> You say "Look! An Eevee!"
"EEVEE!" the Eevee's cry in unison.

> You pet the Eevee. "Do you want that Pokémon ?" you ask.
"EEEEVEEEEE!" the Eevee repeats.
"Do you really want it?"
"EEEE!"

> You say "Hop, are you listening?"
"Huh?"
"I said, do you really want that Eevee?"
"... Ye... Yeah!"
You roll your eyes. "Well then, let's go ask for it."
You two go see the professor with your starter : you picked a Zangoose, and Hop picked an Eevee.
"Here we are," you say, presenting him with Hop's unevolved Pokémon. "This is our starter Pokémon."
The professor looks taken aback. "Wow. How did you manage to get that?"

> You say "From your lab... ?"
"Yeah," you shrug. "Everyone else has there own, but I don't have one."
"Ah. I see." He turns to Hop.

> You say "Then why is there Pokémons in your house?"
"I have many Pokémons in my house?"
"Yes, you do. Why is there Pokémons in your house?"
"Because, I live there!" he says in confusion.

> You frown, then go out the house with Hop.
You and Hop walk back home, and you notice your sister standing in the middle of your living room with a large bag over her shoulder.
"Hey sis!" you call. "What are you doing here?"

> You say "Look, I have my first Pokémon ! He's a Zangoose!"
Your sister turns around, smiling. "I knew you would!" she beams.
"I did it! I got a Pokémon ! I'm a real Pokémon Trainer now!"

> You say "I'm going to participate to the gym challenge with Hop!"
"Great!" your mother says, walking into the room. "I'll go help father. Everyone's been waiting for me in the kitchen."
You walk over to your sister and give her a hug.

> You say "Goodbye sis! Next time you'll see me, it will be on the television, because I will win the challenge!"
She looks at you, smiling. "I know you will, kiddo."
She leaves, and you turn to Hop. "Come on, let's go."
You and Hop walk in the wild.

> You say "Eh! We should try to do a battle between us with our starters!"
"You think so?"
"Yes! We can show the world that we are real Pokémon Trainers!

> You say "Let's do it!"
"I'm glad you're so enthusiastic, my little Pokémon "
You and he begin to shout orders at the top of your lungs, to get your Pokémon .
It works! Your Pokémon begin to battle!

> You say "Zangoose, use Quick-attack!"
The Zangoose's leg muscles contract, causing it to move at a high speed towards the opposing Pokémon.
The Eevee tenses up, and then releases a flash of light from its body.

> You say "What's that? Dodge it, Zangoose!"
The Zangoose contracts its legs, moving them quickly in front of it. The light hits the legs and bounce off, but the were still moved at a high speed.

> You say "Come on! Use Quick-attack again!"
The legs move even faster, and this time it manages to touch the Eevee before it can release another flash of light.

> You say "You did it Zangoose!"
The Eevee releases another flash of light in the direction where the Zangoose is, but this time it manages to hit the Pokémon.

> You say "Oh no!"
The Zangoose jumps away, stumbling.
The Eevee is hit and is fainted.
"Great job, Zangoose! You're strong against infrared attacks!"

> You say "By the way Hop, what was this flash of light attack?"
"Oh, that was an Eevee's Howl."
"What?!"
"Seriously?"
"That can't be the actual name."
"It is for me and my Eevee.

> You say "I didn't knew that Eevee could learn an attack like that..."
"Most Eevee's can't. They're fairly simple Pokémon, but this one is special."
"Alright then."
You and Hop continue your journey.
You and Hop arrive in a city, where you can take the train to go to the first gym.
You see a shop selling required supplies, such as Pokéblocks. You enter.
"Can I help you?"
A young, female teenager asks you. Wow, she has long blue hair. How rare.

> You say "Yes! I want Pokéball and Potions!"
She nods as she grabs the items you requested.
"Anything else?"
"No, that should do it. Thanks."
"Sure thing. I hope you have a great journey."

> You say "I like your hair! We never see hair with that colour!"
She smiles. "Thanks! It took me a while to get to this colour, too..."
She grabs your items and begins to walk away. Wow, she is fast.

> You go out the store and go back to Hop. "I bought everything we need, let's go take the train!" you say to him.
Hop thanks you, and you grab the bags and exit the store. You then begin your walk to the next destination.
On the train, you begin looking through your bag, finding a book called 'Perfect Happiness'.

> You show the book to Hop.
Hop looks at it. "It's called 'Perfect Happiness'. I wonder if I can make a Pokémon to like me..."
"Let's try to read a little bit of it."

> You read it, but soon you got to pee. You stand up and tell Hop : "I'll be back soon!" before wandering in the train to find the toilets.
As you look for where you should be going, you bump into a man.
"Oh, excuse me."
"Err, sure." the man replies.

> You see he got white hair and is wearing pink clothes...
Whoa, why is this man so cute? You are not normally attracted to guys who dress in fluffy pink clothes.

> You say "H-Hi, what's your name?"
The man looks at you with a confused look.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I can't help but stare at your fluffy pink clothes. Your hair is also white in the pink clothes and its so cute."
"..."
"I-I'm sorry, I talk a lot when I get nervous."
"... Um... My name is Bede, and yours?"
"I'm called Farroudja... I-Is that your name?"
"Yes, it is."
You both begin talking and laughing, while Hop finds you.
"Far, are you in there?"
"Yeah?"
Hop look suspiciously at Bede. "Who's that dude?" he asks.
"This is... Bede, my mom's gonna kill me if she finds out I was talking to a random guy in Fluffy Pink Clothes."

> You say "A-Anyways, I had to go to the toilets, nice to meet you Bede!"
You quickly run to the toilets, leaving a confused Hop and a still confused Bede.
You quickly finish poo-pooing, then exit the toilet.

> You see Hop is gone, and Bede sits on a seat.
You walk back to where Hop is sitting, while wondering why he left so suddenly.
"Hey, where were you? You got bedhead...

> You say "You look angry?"
"Angry? Nah, I'm just thinking."
"About what?"
"You wouldn't understand."
You feel the need to press him, so you grab his hand.

> You say "What are you thinking?"
He grabs your hand and holds it. "You wouldn't understand."
"Try me."
He sighs. "How can someone be so nice... and stupid?"
"What? Are you talking about me?"
He nods.
"Alright, I understand you don't like me, but why?

> You say "What? But I like you!"
"What do you think, I was born yesterday? Do you think I'm a stupid guy that will fall for your sweet talk?"
"Well... no.

> You say "I'm serious, I like you! Why would you think I don't?"
He raises his arms. "Why do you like me? Is it because I'm cute? I can't really think of anything more to like about me."
Hop looks away from you, a bit depressed.

> You say "Hop, you're nice and funny. That's enough to consider you as my friend!"
He sighs again. "You'd be surprised."
"What do you mean?"
"I have lots of friends. But I don't have any that are actually worthwhile."
You frown a bit.

> You say "You think I'm not... ?"
"Useful?" he says, finishing your question. "Maybe at one time you were. But the fact is, I don't need your help."
You get angry.
"FINE!" you say, then stand up without a word and you go sit next to Bede.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm sitting here, aren't I?"
"Not next to me. In the middle of the row."
"Why can't I sit by you?"
"'Cause that would be weird, and I don't want to be weird. Now move."
You pout a bit, then reluctantly do as you're told.
Now you don't know where to sit down...
You look around, and quickly see a opening.
You walk up to it, and find yourself in row... with nobody there, save for a little boy sitting in a seat all by himself.
"Hey,"
"Can I sit here?" you ask. You quickly realise he is one of the gym leaders. It's Allister, the Ghost-type gym leader, a young and shy boy who always wear a mask.
He looks at you, and he jumps slightly. Then, he quickly looks away.
"Ah..."
"Sorry to startle you."
"Ah..." he says again.

> You say "If you don't want me to sit here that's fine, I leave!"
"No, it's fine..."
"What's wrong?"
Allister looks up at the sky. "I'm starting to see ghosts."
"You are? But there are none here, surely?"
"No, it's started happening to me at my old Gym. I would see the old people that used to train here. They don't say much, but what they do is very scary."

> You say "What do they do?"
"They just look at me, and it's very scary."
"Ah, that's probably just their blank expressions. Try talking to them."
"But they don't actually say anything.

> You say "Maybe ignore them, then...?"
"They won't go away, you know. They've been watching me for months now. I see them more and more. I can't sleep anymore... I..."
"Shhhh...."

> You say "It's okay, maybe you can try to find a place where there is no ghost?"
"I'm trying to think of somewhere, but I can't find anywhere. I'm so tired..."
"Would you like to go to sleep..."
"What? No! But I can't sleep at night..."

> You say "Just sleep here on the train. I'll look after your stuff."
Allister nods. You help him to get situated. Then, he takes off his backpack and puts it in front of him.
"Thank you, thank you. Very kind of you." He looks around a bit, then looks at you. "Do you mind if I ask who you are?"

> You say "I'm Ferroudja, and I'm going to do the gym challenge!"
"Ah, that's good. I'm Allister."

> You say "Nice to meet you!"
"Is it okay if I ask you a question?"
"Sure."
"Why are you so nice?

> You say "Well... Why not?"
"I don't mean why are you nice to others, I mean why are you nice to me? I mean you don't even know me."
"It just comes naturally I guess. I used to be a lot more crabby, but lately I've been trying to have a good attitude."

> You say "It's good to help others sometimes!"
"I guess so..."
Allister nods. "I suppose it is." He seems to be deep in thought for a moment.

> You realise the train is taking forever to arrive at destination...
"Hey Allister! Get up here!"
You both look up. Three teenagers are sitting in the carriage above you, their heads almost disappearing through the roof.
"What? I'm not..."
"Oh come on, it'll be fun! We're going home for Christmas, you shouldn't miss this!"
"Yeah! I can't wait to get home and play with my new...!"
The three immediately begin talking about themselves, ignoring Allister completely. He looks at you, even more scared than before.
"Well... Um... It was nice chatting with you. I'll leave you to it..."
He quickly gets up and leaves, almost running. You sigh, and get up to look for the conductor. Sure enough, you find her.

> You say "Hello? Is the train arriving soon?"
The girl looks at you, surprised to see someone so high up. "Um... Yes! In a few minutes!"
Satisfied, you return to your seat.

> You look at Hop, if he's still here.
You find him, but he doesn't look too good. He looks like he's about to pass out.
"Hey...!

> You say "What's happening?"
"I don't... I don't want to die..."
He begins sobbing. You try to comfort him, but he pushes you away.
"Please, don't touch me! You're going to die too! It's happening to everyone! We're all going to die! I don't want to die! Please!

> You say "Why are you thinking that all of a sudden?"
"Because, that's what it feels like!" He says, almost yelling.

> You say "Hop, just tell me what happened!"
He doesn't answer. Instead, he just keeps sobbing. It's so bad that the people around you are starting to stare. You're about to lose your patience, but you stop yourself.

> You say "Okay, I'm going to ask you question, you just have to move your head to say yes or no, would that be alright?"
He nods, and you ask him.

> You say "Did someone come to speak with you here?"
He pauses, nodding slowly.
"Someone came to speak with me. They said if I didn't tell them where you were, they'd kill you."
"Who was it?

> You say "Do you remember their face?"
"No, I was too scared to look."

> You say "If that person spoke to you, they still must be in the train."
He pauses, thinking.
"No... I'm pretty sure it was a woman. She had black hair that came down to her waist."
"That's pretty unusual... But thanks, that's helped."

> You stand up, trying to find that woman Hop described to you.
You spot her almost immediately. She's sitting in a corner of the carriage, her elbows on her knees and her head in her hands.

> You say "Hey, you!"
She looks up, really looking at you for the first time. Her eyes appear dead. The corners of her mouth turn down. It's uncanny.
"Yeah?" She responds unwelcomingly.

> You say "Why did you harass my friend?"
She doesn't answer, just continues to look at you apathetically.

> You say "Answer me!"
"Because I can." That statement, accompanied by her apathetic expression, makes you want to punch her in the face.
"Alright, you've got my attention. Why shouldn't I just kill you?"

> You say "Because all the person in the train will see you?"
She laughs, a harsh, unpleasent sound. "No... but maybe it won't be necessary."
This woman's nihilistic attitude is really starting to bug you. "What do you mean by that?"
She stands up, a cruel grin on her face as she approaches you.
"Because, I'm going to kill you."
"Oh no, you don't." you say, before making your Zangoose out of his pokéball.
She doesn't even flinch.
"Now, stop."
She raises an eyebrow. "Really?"
"Yeah, really."
She laughs.

> You say "Stop it, or I'll ask my Pokémon to attack you!"
She raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure you want to attack me? I could have easily killed you."
"Yeah, I'm sure." You retort.
She chuckles.

> You wonder why the people around you assiting at this scene don't do anything...
She walks towards you, and suddenly your Zangoose pounces forward. It tackles her midsection. He bites her on the arm, but she doesn't even react. He bites her again, but she doesn't even flinch.

> You say "Okay, what are you exactly?"
She smirks. "Just a ghost."
"No, I don't believe you."
She raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure? Maybe you should be asking your friend there." She points at the ground.

> You say "Ghosts are not supposed to touch things."
She cocks her head to the side. "Are you sure? I could have sworn I've seen a ghost touch something before." Her face turns triumphant. "I think I even heard one." She laughs again.

> You say "Yeah, there's Samuel in the other story, but he's actually a cool dude, not like you."
She continues to smirk. "What are you, some skeptic?"
"Yeah, I am."
She raises an eyebrow. "Wow, you're really sure."

> You say "This is a Pokémon story here. You know, pokémon battle, gym challenge and all? You have nothing to do here."
She sighs loudly. "Fine, I'll leave you alone then."
Just as she finishes saying this, her body starts to fade.
"What the..."
She disappears entirely, with no signs of her stops.

> You say "Well, that's better that way!"
You don't have enough energy to talk about this anymore.

> You go back where Hop is.
You walk back towards where Hop is, and find him there, by himself.
"Hey, did you finish?" You ask.
"Yeah," He says. "I just don't know what to do now."

> You say "Let's wait for the train to arrive in the next city."
You find yourself nodding and smiling.
The train arrives in the next city and all the passagers leave the train. As you are about to get off the train, a bunch of rough looking men carrying guns run onto the train. You don't know if this is a good sign or a bad sign.

> You go in the city.
You arrive in the city and you are amazed by the size of it. You walk along, lost, until you see a man having some kind of argument with himself. He is dressed in a black robe.

> You turn to Hop and ask him : "Where do we go to register to the gym challenge?"
As you look at the wizard, he seems to be having a conversation with himself. Whatever, you're not going to bother him.

> You wait for Hop to answer the question you asked him.
Hop turns towards you. "I... don't know."
"Come on, let's just get out of here..."

> You say "Let's ask some passerby, maybe they know where we must go."
You walk up to a passing by man and ask him where is the gym of this city, but he doesn't seem to understand what you mean.

> You ask the passerby again.
You try again and again, but nobody seems to understand you. You are starting to get really frustated by the time that a police siren sounds in the city.

> You search for signs that will show where the gym challenge registration takes place.
You see a big gym, and the sign says that it is the town hall, but you wonder if it isn't the police you should go to, as this looks more like a place for criminals than gym leaders.

> You go to the town hall.
You wish that you had listened to Hop, but you arrive at the town hall to find that the place is packed with people.

> You turn to Hop and say : "That must me the place to register for the gym challenge!"
He shakes his head. "I don't know, I didn't make it this far..."

> You say "Me neither, but a sign said that it's here, so let's wait in the line!"
You enter the line and you realize that everyone here wants to take part in this challenge. Some seem nice, but most look pretty rough. Some of them are even carrying guns.

> You ask Hop : "Why do some of them carrying guns?"
He shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know, it's probably part of the rules..."

> You say "We're doing Pokémon battles, guns are nothing to do in it..."
As you finish your sentence, an officer appears on the scene and starts shouting at everyone. He says that the gym should be closed down because it is a danger to the public.

> You say "What danger?"
This officer doesn't seem to understand your question.
In fact, you begin to get really worried about what is going to happen.

> You say "Oh my fucking god, answer me now! I was waiting all my life for this, and you just come here and wait to destroy it all because of some random reason you don't even know!?"
You are really starting to get angry now, and the crowd around you is beginning to get agitated too.
The officer has no answer, so he runs away, leaving you and everyone else confused and angry.

> You say "Now we can register for the challenge!"
The crowd goes wild.
You are glad you chose this path.
As the man with the hat is about to welcome you all to the challenge, you hear a gunshot outside.
But there's supposed to not have guns here. It's a Pokémon story. Except if there's a digimon or a denjuu outside. Oh well. You'll have to see what happens.
Without a second thought, you and Hop run towards the front door of the town hall to face whatever is coming next.

> You look outside.
As you step outside with Hop, your worst fears are confirmed. There's a man with a gun just standing there.
The crowd behind you has turned into a mob.
A Charizard is sent by a trainer and he uses Flamethrower on the man with the gun, burning him and turning him into ashes.
Another gun man appears and his fire lands on the ground, creating a small explosion that hurts a few people, but doesn't burn them.
The Charizard burns this man too.
A trainer sends out a powerful Dragonite and this legendary beast shoots bubbles at the mob, protecting the people from getting hurt.
Still, the mob is being decimated by what you have done.
You decide to ignore that and you and Hop go register for the gym challenge.
You walk into the town hall, and a man steps out from behind a desk.
You introduce yourself, and explain that you are here to take part in the challenge.

> You say "It's our first year taking the challenge! Do we have some papers to fill up?"
The man laughs and gives you some papers to fill up. It seems like a really easy process, so you tell Hop to take care of them.
Unfortunately, this isn't the case.

> You fill the papers up yourself then.
The man behind the desk looks at you and your partner with great suspicion. "You two don't seem like the type to take the challenge. You look too soft and frail.

> You say "You say that when you saw me litterally yell at a police officer."

> You give back the papers all filled up.
Lacking any other way, you give back the papers filled up.
"Ah... a fiery spirit at least. That'll do." He grins.

> You say "Where should we go now?"
"Good question. Sit down, you'll be going to the Pokémon school soon."
You get a seat and sit down, wondering what is going to happen next.
"The school, huh..." You mutter.

> You look at the other participants of the gym challenge.
You look at all the other competitors and realize how weak they are compared to you.

> You see Princess, the girl that called you "rat-catcher" when you was searching your first pokémon, and Bede, the guy you saw in the train.
Seeing the girl who insulted you makes you angry, but you manage to rein it in.
The others look innocent enough, they wouldn't be a problem. Not like they can do anything to you.

> You let Zangoose out of his Pokeball.
Zangoose is a dangerous beast, even for a collidor. He'll probably attack the wrong person if he's let lose.

> You pat Zangoose on the head. "I'm letting you out of your pokéball so you can watch everything!" you say to him. "But don't do any stupidity, okay?"
Zangoose nods.

> You get up and look at Princess and Bede.
"So," you say, slowly approaching the girl and the guy. "You two want to join the challenge?"
"What?" Princess says, obviously surprised and scared. "No! Get away from us!

> You say "What's wrong?"
"Uh... nothing." She answers, but you can tell she's certain that something is wrong.
"You seem a bit surprised."
"Heh... nothing."

> You say "Okay then..."
You think to yourself, that the girl didn't used to be so shy, but after the ruckus her father made, she became like this.

> You turn toward Bede.
Bede doesn't seem like the kind who would try to talk to you, so maybe the girl just has a crush on him.

> You sit next to Bede without asking him.
Bede seems to notice your presence, but doesn't say anything.
"So..." You begin, "You're taking part in the challenge too?"
He nods, and you continue.

> You say "How did you encountered Princess?"
"Ah..." He answers, "We go to the same school, so I often talk to her. Then, we decided to participate in this challenge together."
"A school?

> You say "Which school?"
"I go to the Pokémon Tech school."
While you're wondering how can something called the Pokémon Tech school, you think to yourself: I bet it's fake.
"Hmm... Do you like it there?"
"Yeah, it's a good school."
"What are your future plans?"
"I don't know... I guess I'll continue my studies..."
"Anything else you want to say?"
There's silence, and you start to get the impression that this guy isn't very talkative.
"Butey," starts the girl, "We have to go. Now!

> You say "His name is Bede, not Butey..."
"Oh, Butey? I thought he was called Butey. Sorry."
She gives you a dirty look, grabs Bede's hand and leaves the room.
"That girl..."

> You go back to Hop.

You and Hop participate at a show to open the challenge event. When it's done, you can go where you want! You choose to go to the shopping center.
However, when you get in the middle of one of these places, you hear a deep voice from behind: "Excuse me, do you have the time?"

> You say "Yeah, it's 2pm..."
There's a deep laugh from the man, he wearing a black tuxedo, with a skinny figure and a weird-shaped black cap on his head. He gives you a look of admiration, then turns to Hop.
"A good choice, this one. Take good care of her, will you?"
He pats your Hop on the head, and walks away, into another store.

> You say "What's wrong with that dude?"
"I don't know... Something's wrong with him, but I don't know what..."
"Weird."
You decide to ignore the weird man.

> You buy items you will need for your Pokémon journey.
You buy the things you need, then ask what the prices are.
You're surprised to hear that the prices are low... too low. If you could buy anything at these stores, you probably would.

> You buy only what you need.
You don't want to buy anymore than you need, because you're not sure how much you will have in your account.
You go out of the store after buying what you need, and start walking...
"Excuse me, can you help me?"
You turn around to see the same man in front of you, holding a burger and a chocolate bar in his hands.

> You say "Yeah? What's wrong?"
"I'm hungry, and I can't buy anything."
"Oh..." You wonder why someone like him would need money to eat.

> You say "But you have food in your hands."
"I do, but I need money to buy something else, that I'm really, really hungry."

> You say "The burger isn't enough food...?"
He breaks into laughter, and gives you a dirty look.
"You don't understand! I need money to buy an entire meal!"
You give him a look of confusion.
"That is not a meal!"

> You say "I'm sorry, but I can't help you. Bye!"
You go away from the man, with a confused look.
"God, you are dumb."
He follows you, and tries to grab your shoulder.
"Here, take this instead!"
He throws the burger at you, and you quickly duck.
"God, you are pathetic."
He goes away angry, and you continue to walk...
"Excuse me, can you help me?"

> You stop, wondering who spoke to you.
You turn around, to see a girl with a blue phone (with a yellow line going through it), talking to you. She's wearing a black jumpsuit, and her hair is red.

> You say "Yes, what's wrong?"
"(Sigh) I called the police to ask them about that freak, but they said they don't have enought people to send to deal with him. So they told me to call you.

> You say "Why me?"
"Because they said you're smart. They want you to take care of the problem."
You see the man coming out from behind a corner, staring at the two of you.

> You say "The only thing I can do is yelling at him."
"(Sigh) Okay, good luck. I'll wait for the police here."
You nod, and answer the girl: "Thanks for the advice."
"You're welcome!"
You walk to the man, and tell him to leave you alone: "Go away, or I'll call the cops!"
He laughs, and does a weird dance.

> You say "WHAT. ARE. YOU. DOING??"
He goes away, and you start following him.
"How can I make sure he won't come back here? I want to know if he will come back here."
The girl takes out her cell phone, and makes a call.
"Hello, I'd like to report a crime... There's a man who doesn't want to leave our store... I don't think he has done any harm, but it's better to be sure... Thanks for your help. Bye."
She puts her cell phone away, and tells you:
"The police are on their way.

> You say "So they want to come finally?"
"Yes, I told them everything. They said they'd come as soon as possible."
"Great.

> You say "Can I leave or not...?"
"Yes, go out and have fun. And put on some nice clothes."
You thank her, and leave the store.

> You walk in the street and bump into Bede. "Why are you always where I am?" you ask him.
"Because I've been waiting for you? Why are you always where I am?" he answers, laughing.
"Funny guy."
"Why are you always where I am? Answer me, you stupid diesel!"
"You called me a diesel..."
"I did not!"
"Well, you are right.

> You say "If you call me a diesel, I can call you grandma."
"What?! You are a diesel! Look at you, you have a dirty face, and you are incredibly slow!"
"You are incredibly loud. And I am not slow, I am just quiet."
"If you are so fast, why don't you go home to your mommy?"
"I don't have a mommy."
"Well, get one!
"I don't want another one!"
Bede puts his hands on his head, and decides not to argue about this weird topic. He asks you: "So, what do you want to do?

> You say "I don't know, do you plan to do something here?"
"Yes."
"Can I come with you?"
"I don't know. Can you?"
You think for a bit, and you realize that it is better to ask him.

> You say "That depends on you, I mean, I can come!"
"Good, let's go!"
"Wait, where are we going?"
"I'll show you."

> You follow Bede.
You walk to a dark corner of the street, and suddenly go inside a small shop.
"What are you doing?"
"Shhh! Quiet! Listen to what I think..."
You put your ear against the door, and listen. You hear some mumbling from inside, and then you hear the sound of footsteps getting closer to you, and closer to the door.
"I think someone is in there.

> You say "But that's just a shop?"

> You try to understand the voice coming from inside the shop.
You put your head against the door of the shop, and listen to the voice inside. You... Think it's the owner of the voice.
"Yes, I already told you, but you don't want to listen. Now I'm closing the curtain, and we can continue the discussion. Goodbye!"
Might be worth a shot.

> You try to open the door.
You pull frantically at the doors, but they're locked. You try to pull them open, but you can't.
"I don't understand it."
"That won't work."

> You say "Why is it closed?"
"I think he's sleeping. Come on, we have to hurry."
You run after him, and run into him when you reach the next corner.
"What are you doing?

> You say "Were are we going?"
"We are going to find out what is happening."
"What is happening?

> You say "What is happening where?"
"In the world."
"Where?"
"Everywhere."
"Where do you think is the best place to find out what is happening?"
"Anywhere."
"Why?"

> You say "Wait, you want to understand what is wrong with the sudden ghost m, wizard, and men with guns appearing everywhere?"
"Yes. The more we know about what is happening, the better prepared we will be to handle it."
"Do you think it's a virus or something?"
"I don't know."

> You say "What should we do then?"
"Come on. We have to find out ourselves."

> You decide to come with Bede.
"Why not? Let's go."
"Do you think the shopkeeper knows what is happening?"
"Maybe..."
You knock on the door. The owner gets up, and opens.

> You ask the shopkeeper about the situation.
"What do you think is happening?"
"I don't know, but I have heard some news, they're saying on the news that zombies are appearing out of no-where.

> You say "What? Zombies too?? What the fuck is happening in this world??"
"Well, we can only hope that we're prepared for it."
"That's is the problem with today's world. Nobody is prepared. I remember when the zombie first came out, nobody was prepared!

> You say "But we have Pokémon. We can get rid of them easily!"
"Maybe, but what if it's a poison type or something? We might not be able to beat them.
"Well, we don't know that. Don't jump to conclusions."

> You say "Also, poison is weak to psychic, and ground types..."

> You say "We can beat them!"
"Really? How?"
"I'll show you!"
You suddenly pull out your Pokédex, and start swiping through the pages.
"Quilava, the天 oldest known fireball Pokémon. 90% of Quilava's body is on fire. It can throw a fireball for miles."
You show it to him.

> You say "Look! Thid pokémon could easily burn all the zombies!"
"Hmm, true."
He thinks for a moment.
"Okay, you show me how you can beat all those zombies."
"No problem!"

> You say "Just take a lot of powerful pokemon, and the zombie problem will be over!"
"I don't think so. The really strong ones would just tear you and your pokemon apart."
"Oh yeah?

> You say "Just send a Wailord on it, it will squish them!"
"A Wailord? Bigger than you think!"
He pulls out his phone, and starts typing. You can tell he is searching for something.
"What are you doing?
"I can't find the type of zombie that you talking about. This news article says there are variations, I'm trying to find more info on it."
You see him stop typing, shake his head.
You tired of all this thing and you leave, taking Bede by his hand.
You get to the front door, and find it to be locked. You start to panic a bit. The news said there were zombies all over the city, could it be related to that?
"Now what?"

> You let Zangoose out of his Pokeball and ask him to destroy the door.
Zangoose makes a few more swipes at the door, before he stops and lets out a few whines.
"Zangoose, what are we going to do?"

> You say "Let's find another exit!"
You begin to look around. Luckily, there are a few more doors in the room besides the one the zombies are trying to get in through.
You quickly open one, only to find a set of stairs.

> You climb the stairs.
You head up the stairs to find a room full of doors, leading to the rest of the building.
Behind one of them, you hear the sound of a lock turning.

> You turn toward the sound.
You turn back and open up the door, finding a man in dress clothes and a tuxedo. He is holding a pistol, and looks at you.
"Quickly, get inside!"

> You say : "Nah I'll be fine" and close the door.
You go back to the door the zombies were trying to get in, and unlock it. The two zombies fall backwards as soon as you open it.
You jump inside, closing and locking it behind you.

> You suddenly, you realise they are not zombies, but children dressed like zombies for Halloween.
The two children are in the costume, and both very tall for their age. They have wild, mad eyes, and they stare down the hallway, where you can see a small army of zombies waiting for you.

> You realise that all the zombies are children dressed up like zombies for Halloween.
You have been tricked! The two children were acting, and they tricked you into getting killed. You don't know why they would do that, but you're angry.

> You say "What was that for??"
"That was a really stupid thing to do! We're going to report you to the police! They'll take you away and put you in a big jail, and then you'll never bother anyone else!

> You take out a phone.
You : "Beware, I'm going to call the police if you don't leave now, children!"
The two children give you dirty looks, before walking out of the room.
You wait in your room for what seems like an eternity, however it is only twenty minutes before you hear the sounds of sirens outside.

> You turn toward Bede.
You, asking : Now what?
"We wait for the police..."

> You say "But I didn't call them."
"It doesn't matter. They heard the gunshots and the screams, they'll take care of this."
"Oh"

> You say "Let's just leave?"
As you say this, the door to your room is kicked in by a zombie. You scream as it stumbles toward you.
But there were no zombies, and the police didn't come. So Bede and you went out and left the city, going in the routes with your Pokemons.
Three weeks had passed since you left the city, and you were in a canyon, finding a good place to rest.

> You say "I wonder where the first gym is."
"I bet it's in a city!" says Bede.
"Yeah, but which one?"
You think about this, remembering every city from the news.
After a few seconds, you remember.
"There's a city called London!"
"Exactly! So I'm going there!"
Bede couldn't be more happy.

> You say "You come too?"
"Hah! Wouldn't miss it!"
"Well, let's go!"
Bede pulls out his map and goes over it, marking where you need to go.
Then, you two set off.
