You are Alienor, a princess living in the kingdom of Larion. You wake up in a big feather bed and hear clamoring outside your door. A knight rushes in to tell you that the kingdom is under attack. You are handed a sword and told to arm yourself.

> You are confused, because you never used a weapon before. You look at the knight, dumbfounded.
"This is the most powerful weapon in the world!" the knight says. "I implore you, my princess, use it wisely!"

> You say "I am sorry, but this is impossible. I never used any weapon in my life! That sword is too heavy for me!"
The knight bursts into laughter and slaps you on the back.
"It's alright, darling!" he chuckles. "I'll teach you how to use it."

> You say "If the kingdom is under attack, we do not have the time... Where are my parents?"
The knight tells you to get dressed and follow him.
You follow the knight through a long passageway, which eventually dead-ends into a grand staircase. You follow the knight as he marches up the stairs. Soon, you find yourself in a grand dining hall. It consists of empty tables and chairs. At the far end of the room is a large table.

> You say "Where are we going?"
The knight looks at you and grins.
"To the table, darling!" he laughs.
At the far end of the room is a large table. It is covered with impressive meats, pastries and desserts.

> You wonder why the knight made you come here, and why there is so much food on the table.
The knight takes you to the side of the room and whispers into your ear.
"If you want to survive this, you'll need to eat all this food."

> You say "Why?"
The knight bursts into laughter.
"Why?" he asks. "Because, sweet cheeks! We are hosting a feast to celebrate the marriage of the princess!"

> You say "Wait... The kingdom wasn't under attack? That was just an excuse to get me here??"
The knight bursts into laughter again.
"No, no! Your parents wanted to throw you a royal wedding! The invasion was just a cover!"
You are a little baffled, but the knight is insistent.

> You say "Why am I not aware of my own weading...?"
The knight's grin widens.
"It is a secret, darling! Don't tell anyone!"
You are still baffled, but the knight leads you to the table. You sit down and begin to dig in.

> You say "Who am I supposed to marry?"
The knight grins.
"You'll have to ask the king that, now won't you?"
You continue to eat.
After a few mouthfuls, you finally put the knife and fork down.

> You say "Okay, I need to talk to my father."
The knight leads you to the king's throne room. You are lead in and find the king sitting on his throne.
"Ah! My daughter!" he says, scrambling to get up.

> You say "Good evening, father. I would like to ask you a question."
"Oh! Of course, darling. Ask away."
"I was told that you planned a royal wedding for me. Is this true?"
The king bursts into laughter.
"I believe your betrothed is out in the courtyard, darling! He's been waiting for you to ask for him!"
"The king laughed.
"That's cute, darling. Very cute. No, you'll have to ask him in. Go on, do it!

> You squint your eyes, but go in the courtyard to see who is your betrothed.
You exit the throne room and find yourself in a long hallway. To your left is a massive set of iron doors. It is the royal armory. To your right is a massive set of oak doors. It is the royal bedroom. In front of you is a courtyard.

> You enter the courtyard.
You find yourself in a small courtyard with a fountain and a few trees. A man in rags is sitting on the ground. He looks at you expectantly.
"Hello," he says.
"Hello."

> You frown, wondering is this man is your betrothed. You ask him, to be sure : "Who are you and what are you going here?"
"I am your betrothed. We were to marry, but it was annulled. We are to marry again."

> You say "Oh, okay... What is your name? Where do you come from?"
"I am Edgar. I come from a small village. We're poor. But we have love for you."
"Interesting."
You feel an urge to punch him.
"When is the wedding?" you ask, changing the tone of the conversation.
"In two days. Friday. I work at the village pub. I can't afford a better suit, but I hope you'll forgive me.

> You are not sure how to feel. You say "Excuse me" and then enter back the castle, without looking if Edgar follows you or not, and you go back to the king. "Father!" you yell.
Your father appears, looking at you worriedly.
"Alienor, what is wrong? Why are you crying?"
A tear falls down your face.
"The... the man I'm marrying... he's not..."
Your father approaches you. He takes your face in his hands and stares into your eyes.
You look at the ground.
"Your wedding is in two days. You don't have time to worry about this now. You've been through a lot, and you have to stay focused. This is what you've always wanted. This man you're about marry, he's good man. He cares about you, and that's what's important."
You nod.

> You say, defeated : "Okay..."
You give a wan smile.
"I'm sorry I worried you, father."
Your father hugs you.
"Don't worry about it. Go, get some rest, we need to get everything in order for the wedding tomorrow."
"Okay, father."

> You leave the king's room, thinking about Edgar.
You go back to your room and lie on your bed. You stare at the ceiling.
You think about having to marry Edgar. It's not really what you want. But you have no choice.

> You think a bit more, and come to the conclusion that you don't want to marry Edgar. You need to run away.
You get up and open your door. The hallway is empty.
You walk down the hall and descend the stairs. You go back to the king's bedroom. You take the crown out of your backpack.

> You won't need the crown anymore, so you put it on the throne.
You head to the armory. You grab a suit of armor and some weapons.
You leave the castle and walk towards the pub, carrying heavy suit of armor on your shoulder.
You walk into the pub.
"Edgar!" you yell.
Edgar appears, surprised to see you. He walks up to you.
"Oh! Hello, princess," he says. "What can I get you?"

> You say "I'm leaving. I don't want to marry you."
"What? Why?" Edgar replies, clearly agitated.
"I don't want to marry you! I had a nice, normal life, before you came along."
Edgar's eyes widen.
"You... what? I don't believe you!"
"Yes, it's true. Now if you don't mind, I'm leaving."
"No! You're not leaving until we settle this!"

> You say "What would you do about it?"
Edgar pulls out a knife.
"I'd do enough to you to make sure I had your cooperation!" he says, brandishing the knife.

> You take a step back.
You take a step back slowly.
"Please, just let me go."
"I can't! We have to get married!"
"I don't love you," you say.
"You will!"

> You turn around and run out the pub.
"Stop her!" Edgar shouts.
People from other tables look up and see what's going on. Three men grab Edgar, while two others grab you.
You're thrown to the floor. Edgar is held down while the knife is pulled out of his hand.
"Come on, Edgar," one of the men says.
You're picked up by two of the men who grabbed you.
"What are you doing?" you ask.
"Taking the princess to her room," another man says.

> You say "No! Please, I don't want to go back to the castle."
They look at you.
"What?" one of them asks.
"Can't you see she's scared? Can't you feel it?" asks another.
"Enough of this," he says. "She's a royal. She gets treated like a princess."
The men look at each other, then nod in unison. They lift you up and carry you over their shoulders into the castle.

> You think to yourself : "Great, back to square one..."
Over the next few days, you continue your escape attempts. You finally manage to escape through a window of the castle. You run into the forest, planning on never returning.

> You think that now Edgar is furious, that a better idea to never marry him. You walk in the forest, and find a white dear. You know him; you already made your way in the forest and saw him. The dear seems to like you.
You sit down next to him. Suddenly, Edgar appears from the bushes and grabs you.
"I knew you'd escape again!" he says, angrily.
You try to get out of his grip, but he's much stronger.
"Well, now you'll see what happens when you break the law!" he says, and throws you to the floor.
The dear suddenly charge, kicking Edgar in the face. He falls backwards, releasing you.

> You say : "Thank you!" to the dear. The dear seems to want you to go on his back quickly.
"Thank you!" you say, and sit on the dear's back. You are carried to the top of the forest.
Edgar appears from the bushes, smiling evily.
"Ah! Back from your stroll, princess?"
"Leave me alone," you say. "I don't want to talk to you."
Edgar laughs cruelly and runs forward to you.
The deer runs much faster than Edgar, and outrun him easily.
You arrive at a small river, with a bridge.

> You cross the bridge with the deer, and arrive in a wide plain. You can't see much in front of you, there's fog.
You slowly walk, and before long, you hear a scream. You stop, and pick your way through the fog to discover a wounded deer. It's belly is ripped to shreds, apparently by a large creature.

> You cry while looking at that poor deer. Suddenly, you hear another scream; it's not human, nor animal. It's coming closer... You suddenly see a strange building in the fog, moving. It slowly stops with a screech.

A door seems to open. You don't see much because of the fog, but you hear a voice with a strange accent coming from inside asking : "Hello? Are you alright?"

It seems the deer led you to a castle! What luck!
A weird, moving castle, but that was one! Maybe the people in it were friendly. You ask : "I am lost, could I enter your castle?"
You hear the strange voice answer : "A castle?? Do you mean the train?"
You're confused. "What is a train?" you ask. "I mean, I don't feel so good. Can I sit inside it, somewhere?"
"Of course! Come on in!" says the voice.
You enter the moving castle.
The place is very weird. They are weird chairs everywhere, and a lot of windows.
"I totally forgot I go back in time!" you hear the voice saying. "No wonder why yoy don't know what a train is!"
You turn to the origin of the voice. You see a tall man wearing white clothes. He has wild, white hair and a strange face. You'd say he's handsome, if he wasn't always smiling.

> You say "Who are you...?"
"I am the time traveller. You can call me Mr. Time."

> You are confused. "Time traveller...?" you ask.
"Ah! Just joking! My name's Emmet, nice to meet you!" the man answer.
He offers you his hand to shake, but you just look at him, confused.
"Sorry, it's just a joke I like to make. Don't take it too seriously okay?" he says, shrugging.
You nod your head slightly. "Okay," you reply.
"Anyway, I'm here to help you with your problems, so ask me anything!" he announces happily.
You wonder what's the worst possible problem you could have...

> You say "I... I was running away from my home, because my father betrothed me to a man I didn't like. When this man learned I didn't liked him, he became crazy and creepy."
"That's horrible! I'm so sorry, what can I do?" Emmet asks.
"Nothing."
"What do you mean? Don't you want me to help you get your family back?"

> You say "Not really... I just want to get far away from now..."
Emmet frowns. "I see... Well then, I guess there's nothing I can do..."
"Are you sure you don't have any solutions?

> You say "What does your... Train do...?"
"My train? Well, I run on diesel, obviously. But when I was young and foolish like you, I used to run on magic."

> You say "I am not that foolish..."
"Okay, okay. It was more like... A magical steam engine, in the old days. It could travel through time."
You shrug. That doesn't sound very useful...
"I know what I can do! Let's go back to my time!" Emmet say.
"Your time...?" you ask.
"Well... The place where I live! It's a region called Unova, we can travel through times and spaces from there!" he responds.
You more and more confused. Time travel... Sounds dangerous.
"I know it sounds crazy, but it's a fact!"
You don't really want to travel through time, it sounds dangerous.
"Come on, you don't risk anything!" Emmet says. "Look, I am still alive and I travel a lot!" he adds.
You still not conviced.
"That will be better than waiting for the guy you don't want to marry!" he says.
You admit he has a point here.
"But... How can I trust you?" you ask.
Emmet doesn't seem to understand. "What?"
"How can I trust you? You could just take off at any moment."
Emmet raises his hands. "I give you my word! And I'm aTime Traveller! What do you have to lose?"
You think for a while, but you end up going with him.
"Thanks for saving me!"
He smiles to you, then says : "I can't wait to present you my brother!"
"Oh, you have a brother?" you ask.
"Yes, and he's the best in the whole wide world!"
"Okay, now you're pushing your luck..."
But he doesn't listen to you, and runs to the side of the train.
The train suddenly moves. It's so weird, you're a bit afraid. But Emmet is very happy.
"This train is going to move! I knew it! I could drived trains I tell you!"

> You say "I feel sick...."
"What? No! You will love travelling through time! Cross my heart!"
He makes a cross over his chest, and you feel really sick.

> You say "I think it is because of the mouvement, not the time travelling..."
Emmet shrugs, and continues looking out of the window. You continue feeling sick, and have to sit down.
"Oh, this is too cool! I can't believe it!"
You don't answer, and you continue sitting down. The scenery goes by at a very fast speed. You still feel too ill to move.
"Hey, where are we going?"
"To Unova!"

> You say : "Okay..." before falling asleap.
"No, wake up! We have arrived!"
You wake up with a start, finding yourself in a place from your dreams. A city of the Future, where everything is green!

> You are intimidated by all of this.
It is too green, too futuristic. Where is this? The air smells bad here. It smells like....
You have a vision of Team Rocket robbing the bank, while still maintaining their green outfits.
Emmet takes you by the hand and get you out of the train.
"Come on, we have to find a new home! A place where you can live comfortably!"
You are not comfortable here.
"Let's find my brother!" Emmet says.
You follow him, because you have no idea of what to do else. You see a little boy of about six years old, throwing stones at a Pokemon.
"Hey, stop that! You don't play with the Pokemon, you catch them!"

> You say "What is a Pokemon...?"
The boy turns to you, and his eyes are filled with sadness.
"A Pokemon dies when you throw a stone at it."
You have no answer. Kids these days...
Emmet suddenly stops.
"Look, my brother's right here!" he says to you. "Let's go!"
You follow him, not really understanding all of this.
You walk through the tall grass, looking at the Growlithe behind you. You have no idea what type it is.

> You have actually no idea what it is! The growlithe looks like a weird dog to you.
Emmet stops in front of a man that looks like exactly like him, except he is wearing black clothes.
"Hello Ingo!" Emmet says to him.
It seems like they're twins.
"You're my brother!"
"Yes, I am."
"You're just a little older than me, right?"
"Yeah. How did you know?"
"You're dressed in black, while I'm dressed in white. You're also wearing a tie."
Ingo nods.

> You find that Ingo looks very tired.
"So your name is Ingo?" you ask him.
"Yes, that is my name. No one calls me anything else."
You nod.
"My name is Alienor. I'm a little hungry, does anyone here cooks?"
Emmet frowns a little.
"I don't know. Hey, do you want something to drink?"
he asks.
"No, I'm good," you say.
A silence falls between you 3.

> You say "So... What is this place?"
"This place is a home."
"A home?
"What kind of home?" you ask.
"Well, this place is between times, three Times exactly! And we can travel in each one of them if we want!" Emmet answer.
"What's between times?"
Emmet takes you hand again and pulls you.
"This place is between Times, all Unova is! For example, you come from Times 1! There're also Times 2 and Times 3, which are your future! But here, it's not the future or the past, it's all at the same time!" Emmet answer.
This is so complicated that your head begins to hurt. You have to ask some more questions.

> You say "What will happen if I go in a future time?"
"Well, you go in it!"
Emmet laughs a little, but soon stops.
"But I think you're a little to young to go to Times 3!"
he says.
"But... I really want to go there...

> You say "What is happening in Times 3?"
Emmet suddenly stops smiling.
Did you say something wrong?
"Nothing. Let's go!" he says, and starts running again.
You're too young to go to Times 3, right?

> You think that his behaviour is weird, but don't say anything. Ingo is following you two, and soon, you're all in front of a big house.
"Is this your house?" you ask.
"Yes, this is my Home."
You look at the place, which looks like a mansion from a fairy tale.
"Wow... This is... big."

> You think that it's like a tiny castle. Emmet let you in.
"Do you want to go in?"
"Yes!"
Emmet turns, walks inside, and you follow him.
Ingo follows too, without saying anything.
You walk in the entrance hall, which is decorated with fancy carpets.
"Don't step on the carpets."
Emmet stands in front of you, blocking your movement.

> You say "Aren't carpets supposed to be something we step on?"
Emmet frowns a little, before bursting out laughing.
"It's a saying! Don't worry, I won't make you step on them."

> You say "What will happen if I step on them?"
Emmet stops laughing to think for a second.
"Well... I dunno! But that would be bad!"
He leaves you to wonder about the meaning of this, before turning to Ingo.
"Continue, Ingo."
"Yes, Emmet."
"What will happen if I go in there?" you ask, pointing at a room on the right.
"Don't go in there."
"Why not?"
"It's a bad room."
"Can't I go in there anyway?"
"I already said, don't go in there!"
You raise an eyebrow.

> You decide to listen to him, even if you're not sure what a "bad room" is...
"Alright, don't go in there."
You nod your head, exasperated but still submissive. Ingo turns to you.
"Do you have any questions?

> You say "Yes... What can I do now that I am in your house? "
Emmet smiles.
"Well, you can follow me. Or Ingo. He's the head of the house."

> You didn't know he was the head of the house. You thought that Emmet was, because he talks so much. You turn toward Ingo, and decides to follow him instead, because he is less weird than his twin.
Emmet laughs a little, and then proceeds to stand in front of you, blocking your way.
"You are not allowed to go with Ingo!"

> You say "But... You just said that I could go with him..."
"I lied."
Emmet's comment confuses you.
"What do you mean?"
"Lying is bad. Bad for you. You need to stop."
"Why?

> You say "I didn't lie..."
Emmet seems to think about this for a while, before nodding.
"You didn't lie."

> You are do much confused at Emmet's behavior. You look at Ingo, waiting for him to clarify what just happened.
"...What?" Ingo asks back.
Emmet continues to look at you, as if he can read your mind.
"Don't worry about it."
"We should go now, there is a lot to do!"
Ingo and you nod your head, and follow him upstairs. You find yourself in a room full of toys, all labeled.

> You say "Whose toys are these?"
"They're mine. We have so much time to play with them, but we need to do important things. Putting away toys is on the list."
"What does putting away toys mean?
"It means putting away toys. Like, when people die, their toys go to other people. Or sometimes, the toys stay in the house of the person who owned them before.

> You say "You don't want to have these toys anymore?"
"Nope. I'm giving them to you, because you'll play with them better than me."
"You're weird."
Emmet shrugs.
"Yeah. I'm weird. That's why I'm giving you my toys. So you can have fun with them."
"Thank you."
After that, they show you a bedroom only for you where you can sleep.
"This is your room."
You nod. Then, Ingo takes you and shows you the rest of the house. It's big. You wonder how many rooms the house has.
Then, the night falls.
"I think it's time for sleep."
You nod.
"I'll grab you by the hand, and we can go downstairs."
"Can't I sleep in your room?"
"I don't think you should."
You don't really like that answer.

> You go in your bedroom.
You go to your room, and find yourself alone. You quickly go to the bed, lay down and close your eyes.
You sleep, but you don't have a peaceful sleep. You have nightmares, of a man with black eyes and bloody face screaming at you.
You wake up from the loud noise and the light that enters trough the windows.

> You look through the windows.
You go to the window and look outside, noticing that it's dark and you can barely see your hand in front of your face.
"It's the middle of the night."

> You freeze, wondering who just said that.
"Huh?"
No one answers. Instead, you hear a creaking noise, like the one that a house makes when the wind blows.

> You stand up, and quit your bedroom, searching for Ingo's room, even if he didn't want you to enter it.
You walk to Ingo's room, and listen at his door, but no sound comes out.

> You knock at the door.
You knock at the door, and wait. For a while, no one comes out, but you're starting to get a little worried since Ingo hasn't woken up, despite the noise.

> You say "Ingo? Are you in there?"
You stop, and try to listen carefully. Suddenly, you hear a groan, and some dry sounding footsteps.
"Help! Stop them from opening the door!"
Suddenly, the door is pushed open by a shriveled, skinny figure, covered in blood and holding a rusty sword.
Oh no, it's Edgar!
You immediately try to run past him, but he blocks your way.
"Wait!" He screams.

> You say "Leave me alone!"
You run past Edgar, but he grabs you by the arm, and the foul stench of his body makes you vomit.
"You will pay for your insolence!" He screams.

> You scream for help.
You scream out for help, and someone comes to your rescue.
"Edgar, you'll have to let her go, or fight me for her."
Edgar turns around, and you see Ingo. He looks so serious, that you get scared.
"No." He says.

> You say "Where's Emmet?"
"Nevermind, focus on me."
You look at Ingo, and nod slowly. He takes a step forward, and grabs the sword of Edgar.
"I don't want to fight you. Please, just let her go."
"You're too weak. You should have chosen the easy way out. Now you have to suffer the consequences.

> You look at Ingo taking a step back and taking out a weapon you never saw before and which doesn't exist in your world : a gun!
You look at Ingo taking a step back and taking out a weapon you never saw before and which doesn't exist in your world : a gun! immediately doing so, he pulls the trigger. Edgar screams in pain and falls to the ground.
"Let her go." He says in a deadly tone, pointing the gun at Edgar's head.
"I can't do that. She's my wife.

> You say to Edgar "I am not your wife!"
Suddenly, Edgar gets up again, and clumsily jumps at Ingo.
"You impotent fool! I am your husband!"
Ingo shoots him in the head, killing him instantly.

> You look at the scene with horror.

> You look at Ingo.
"Oh Ingo! What have I done...!"
"You did what you had to do. It's okay, not like I don't understand."
"What are we going to do now?
"Leave." Ingo says.
"Where?" you ask.
"You'll see. Go get Emmet and go back here" Ingo says.
You sigh, but go search Emmet.
You walk into his room, and he's awake. You're surprised that he slept through all the noise.
"Ingo killed Edgar." You tell him.
"What?" Emmet says.
"Edgar's dead."
"What? No way! I thought he was unstoppable!"
"Well, he's not."
"So, what happens now?

> You say "Ingo asked me to get you, and we are leaving somewhere, but I don't know where..."
"Yeah, yeah. Let's go via car." Ingo says.
You look at the two of them and back at the huge blood puddle on the floor.

> You follow Ingo and Emmet into their car.
You get in the back seat of the car with Ingo and Emmet, who seem to be talking about you.
"I didn't agree with what you did, but I can sure admire your resolve."

> You look at them, but don't say anything.

> You look through the windows, while the car is moving.

The car stops in a forest.
"Here we are." Ingo says, who opens the trunk and puts some packing tape on the middle of the floor.

> You say "Why are we in a forest?"
"Because it's a secluded area, and I found the place I want to hide."
"Are you sure this is a good idea?"
"I'm positive, let's do it."
The three of you walk into the forest. Suddenly, you see a blue police phone box between two trees.
"What the...?" Emmet says.
None of you knows what this box is doing here. You look at it, confused.

> You say "What is it?". Coming from the past, you have absolutely no idea of what it is. Ingo informs you that this a phone box, used to call people. It's like using letters, but faster.

"Usually, it's linked to something, not hanging out in the wood." Ingo adds.
You nod, and look at the blue phone box. That's certainly weird.

"Let's find a number to call." You say.
"Yeah." Ingo agrees, and tries to open the door.
The three of you look at each other, nervous.
Maybe that wasn't a real phone box...

> You open the blue phone box door, only to realise it's bigger inside than outside, and it's also weird looking. Ingo looks at the interior, surprised.
"What's wrong?" you ask.
"This... is not what a phone box is supposed to be in the inside." Ingo says.

Suddenly, Emmet exclaims: "Eh! That's remind me of a show I saw on the television!"
You have no idea what a show nor a television is, so Ingo explains it to you, before you ask Emmet : "What show? There is a show with a blue phone box in it?"
"Actually, more a serie! What was the name again..." Emmet says.
He stops and thinks, then he begins to speak again : "Ah! Doctor Who!"
A show you've never heard about, and that your grandfather probably won't either. He's not exactly a 'Whovian', an addicted fan of the series.

> You say "What is this serie about?"
"It's a show about time travel, and actions, and companions, and fighting the bad guys!"

> You say "And there is a blue box in it?"
"Eh! That's not important!" Emmet says.
"It is to us!" you protest, and Ingo laughs.
Emmet rolls his eyes. "It's about a... man who goes back in time in a phone booth, and changes history."
"And then there are people that want to kill him," Ingo adds.
